Former federal prosecutor and former Bucks County solicitor Joe Khan is the second Democrat to launch a bid for attorney general in 2024.

Democratic attorney general candidate Eugene DePasquale shown here in 2019 when he was Pennsylvania auditor general.Unlike DePasquale, though, Khan has prosecutorial experience as an assistant district attorney and assistant U.S. attorney, where he led corruption probes in Allentown and Scranton that resulted in multiple indictments and convictions.

In his campaign announcement and an interview, Khan repeatedly stressed the role his family’s diverse background has played in his life.
