Former Dodgers pitcher Joe Kelly says he wanted to confront Astros players at team hotel in 2020

In the book, the current White Sox reliever says he was prepared to wait for the Astros in the hotel lobby and confront them about the benches-clearing incident from earlier that season and the 2017 sign-stealing scandal.Kelly told Dodgers radio host David Vassegh on AM 570 LA Sports radio on Friday ."My wife knows that, she could vouch for me. We had twins at the time and she said, 'OK, you can do what you want to do.' And there's a part where MLB tried to go behind my back while I was practicing at the field. Tried to have a conversation with my wife saying, 'Hey, if the Astros win, you need to tell your husband pretty much to simmer down and not do anything.' She basically flat-out laughed at them and said, 'Good luck. I can't even do that.
Kelly has been one of the Astros' most outspoken critics. In the past, he has said his biggest issue is how Astros players handled the MLB investigation. On a podcast with former teammate Ross Stripling, Kelly called Astros players snitches for trading their information about the sign-stealing for immunity from punishment.
