A couple of NFL executives believe QB Joe Burrow won't be a member of the Cincinnati Bengals for much longer.
quarterback Joe Burrow started a social media firestorm of speculation that he wants to be traded with what he said back in early December.at the time. “I've been through a lot and if it's not fun, then what am I doing it for? So that's the mindset I'm trying to bring to the table.
” Many took Burrow’s remarks to be a veiled shot at the Bengals and a hint that he wants to play for a different team with a better offensive line and a legit shot at winning the Super Bowl.Despite the 29-year-old QB walking back his remarks, many believe he still isn’t happy in Cincinnati. And it’s not just fans that feel that way either.executives believe Burrow does, in fact, want to be traded, and that a divorce could happen in the not-too-distant future.. “Dude, they aren’t going out and trading for Maxx Crosby or something like that. The defense sucks. This is the final year that Chase and Higgins are both there. It’s going to come to a head, trust me.” Another added: “I could see him angling to get out of there. I kind of expect it. That’s a tough place to win, and he really wants to win.”In six seasons with the Bengals, Burrow has thrown for 20,810 yards, 157 touchdowns, and 51 interceptions with a 101.1 passer rating. He’s led Cincinnati to 43-33-1 record as a starter with two division titles, two playoff appearances, an AFC Championship Game appearance, and a Super Bowl appearance.
