Campaigning in Iowa, former Vice President Joe Biden urged Democrats to halt 'this circular firing squad'
DES MOINES, Iowa—Former Vice President Joe Biden is warning Democrats to halt a “circular firing squad” in the 2020 presidential race as he seeks to slow the momentum of his rivals ahead of the Iowa Democratic caucuses.
Mr. Biden, holding weekend events in Iowa, touched upon recent comments by his one-time running mate, former President Obama, who told donors last week the party should “chill out” and not become overly focused on differences in the field.
