Actress Jodie Turner-Smith claims in court documents that her ex-husband, Joshua Jackson, has not been fulfilling his child support obligations during their divorce proceedings.
Jodie Turner-Smith, who shares 4-year-old daughter Juno with ex Joshua Jackson , claimed in new court documents that the 'Dawson\'s Creek' alum hasn't been paying child support amid their ongoing divorce. Turner-Smith, 38, states that Jackson, 46, 'promised to always support me and ensured me that I would not have to worry about financial security for our daughter if we ever separated because he said he understood how difficult life can be as a Black woman and a single mother.
' The 'Doctor Odyssey' actor filed for divorce from Turner-Smith in late 2023 after four years of marriage, citing 'irreconcilable differences' in paperwork obtained by E! News at the time. Per Us Weekly, citing Turner-Smith's new filing, she's requesting that Jackson pay $8,543 per month retroactive to the date of her initial filing, $28,641 a month in spousal support while their divorce is still pending, and $250,000 for attorney fees and other legal costs. 'The most important thing,' she added, 'is that you choose what's healthiest for you and your family and definitely your children.' Sept 15, 'I think that’s the magic sauce. I love my life.
