Jockeys are making a stand against the Eagle Farm Racecourse after a rider was thrown from his mount in a scary situation on Saturday. There have been a series of incidents at around the 600m mark and jockeys believe the horses are being spooked due to a building development. After Saturday’s incident where jockey Robbie Dolan was lucky to escape serious injury after he was dismounted from Victory Command, the last two races of the day were called off.
“At the end of the day, we don’t want to stop racing here.
