A jockey has died after falling off his horse during a race in Victoria's north. Deanholland18 was riding 'Headingly' when he was knocked to the ground during race one. 7NEWS
The incident occurred when the field turned for home during the opening race at Donald, which is in Victoria’s north-west.Holland’s mount Headingley veered sharply and crashed through the inside rail.
Fellow jockey Alana Kelly, who was riding Time To Rumble, also fell from her horse, but was able to walk away from the incident.Holland, a 34-year-old father of four, was worked on by paramedics but died at the scene.If you’d like to view this content, please adjust your
