Jocelyn Wildenstein, the Swiss socialite known as 'Catwoman' for her extensive plastic surgery, died peacefully in her sleep on New Year’s Eve at the age of 84. Her longtime partner, Lloyd Klein, told TMZ that she will be cremated and her remains transported to her ranch in Kenya after an intimate funeral in Paris.

Days earlier, Klein revealed to People that Wildenstein had battled phlebitis, which is inflammation of the veins near your skin due to blood clots. Prior to her death, Wildenstein garnered headlines for her exaggerated cosmetic surgery. Following her first surgical procedure in the late 1970s, observers began comparing Wildenstein’s eye lift to that of a lynx, which she kept as a pet.
