On one of their TikTok account bios, there are emojis that show a ninja, cross sword, and classical building, which investigators wrote in the warrant “TdA will use certain slang and emojis in their communications with one another to identify themselves.”In a post on that same account, there’s a message written in Spanish which investigators described as “a call to members inside and outside the country” and that “the message involved TdA gang membership.

Another video on that account showed Pena with two star tattoos on his shoulders along with a rose tattoo on his hand, which investigators wrote are associated with the gang.In requesting the search warrant, investigators said they believe they could find more evidence related to Nungaray’s death, communications the suspects had with other gang members, evidence of gang affiliation or activity, or other potential criminal acts.
