SUBANG JAYA: A jobless man has been arrested following a botched snatch theft near the SS14 market here.
The suspect was riding a motorcycle along the road near the market and attempted to snatch the bag of a woman.A group of Good Samaritans managed to capture the man and made a citizens' arrest before handing him over to the police.
Subang Jaya OCPD Asst Comm Risikin Satiman said they were alerted about the case at around 9.40am on Sunday ."The victim sought treatment at a nearby medical facility and has yet to lodge a police report," he said. ACP Risikin thanked the members of the public who acted swiftly to apprehend the suspect and handed him over to police.
