“Lower asking rents could be explained by less churn or turnover in the market due to lower vacancy in Saskatoon, which means less units are vacant and being listed for rent at often higher prices,” he told me. “In Saskatoon as of the end of July there were 845 apartments completed and 1,525 overall,” Choquette pointed out. “More supply equals more stable rents.”
