Former US President Jimmy Carter posthumously won a Grammy Award for his audiobook 'Last Sundays in Plains: A Centennial Celebration'. The recording features his final Sunday School lessons. His grandson, Jason Carter, accepted the award on his behalf.

If the former president won before his death, he would’ve become the oldest Grammy award winner in history. “He’s such an enormous music fan. He loves the creative aspect of music,” Jason Carter said backstage about his grandfather. “It’s been an important part of his political life, an important part of his personal life. He’s an artist in many ways.”
