The program, which was authorized and funded by Biden's American Rescue Plan, will distribute $10 million in harm reduction grants annually over the next three years. SAMHSA accepted applications from state, local, tribal and territorial governments, as well as tribal organizations and community-based organizations, until February 7. The agency expects to award 25 grants of up to $400,000 each per year.
