Jim Carrey revealed that he shaved his actual hair in a scene for 'Sonic the Hedgehog 3,' in which he reprises his role as the main antagonist Dr. Ivo 'Eggman' Robotnik.

Carrey’s mad scientist character rocks an unhinged amount of bedhead at the top of the clip – which pairs well with his signature wacky mustache.But in the scene, Ivo transforms back into his bald look as another character, his assistant Stone, played by Lee Majdoub, gives him the big chop.and I just cut Jim Carrey’s hair on camera," Majdoub says giddily in the video. "It was so much fun and he wanted me to do it, and he showed me a lot of trust.
During the shaving montage, which sees Majdoub alternating between using scissors and an electric shaver, Carrey reveals that he had been growing his hair out for "a year and a half." "I throw the spaghetti against the wall, see if it sticks, see if it's al dente," Carrey said. "I know the material, and then, of course I want to try it a bunch of different ways.
