Jewish Home is meeting a vital need for adults and seniors in Monroe County.
Jewish Home leaders cut the ribbon Tuesday, May 12, 2026 on the new Lilac Grove apartment complex on Winton Road in Brighton. The retirement community held a grand opening Tuesday for its new Lilac Grove living complex located in its 75-acre campus on Winton Road in Brighton.
The 90-unit apartment complex is dedicated to people ages 62 and older. It's equipped with an on-site exercise facility, pickleball courts, deli, hair salon and more. It also offers access to an array of home and health care services.
"There's a big demand for this type of rental housing, but not a lot of inventory," said president & CEO Michael King. "We're really fortunate, we have leased over 30% of our apartments already without even officially opening the doors. " Jewish Home is hosting an open house at the new complex Saturday from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. for people interested in moving in.
