Guillem Gonzalez-Lomas, MD, of NYU Langone’s Sports Medicine Center, shares his thoughts on Knicks big man Precious Achiuwa not being cleared for contact after missing nearly a month’s worth of action with a hamstring injury.

Davante Adams practiced as a full participant Friday after he missed two days earlier this week with a stomach bug, cured with help from a big bowl of chef-made soup that the receiver was seen sipping in the locker room.“We’re back rolling,” Adams told The Post. “You have to be bland, stay hydrated and don’t get too excited on the foods.”

Adams emerged from last week’s loss to the Cardinals with wrist soreness, but he said that is not a concern that would sideline him. The Jets are in a must-win spot, with only a 13 percent chance to reach the playoffs, according to NFL.com.“This team is relying on me. That’s why I’m here — to help the team win,” Adams said. “It’s my 11th year playing in the league. I know the difference between being hurt and being injured — and if I’m not injured, I’m going to be out there.”

It’s notable because there are skeptics who think Adams missed the final three games of his Raiders tenure while waiting for his trade request to be met and not because of a severe hamstring injury.Olu Fashanu already wowing Jets with big opportunity awaiting: ‘So freaking athletic’ “It gives you a lot more incentive to want to be out there helping out,” Adams said. “Regardless of where we are, as long as we have a fighting chance, everybody’s mind is going to be in it the right way. Obviously, we don’t want it to be the other way, but even if so, you want to go out there and play for your pride and for your brothers to win the game. That’s where my head is.”What’s strange is that Adams and Aaron Rodgers have only connected on 20 of 39 targets over four games.
