The New York Jets are on the hunt for a new general manager and have conducted their second interview in as many days with former Tennessee Titans GM Jon Robinson. The team is utilizing The 33rd Team to assist in the search process.
The New York Jets are actively seeking a new general manager . On Tuesday, they conducted their second interview in as many days, this time with former Titans GM Jon Robinson . The 48-year-old served as the general manager in Tennessee from 2016 to 2022. To assist in the search, the Jets have enlisted the help of The 33rd Team, a support organization that will identify and vet candidates and coordinate interviews.
Robinson boasts extensive NFL experience, having held various roles within the Patriots' front office, including area scout, regional scout, director of college scouting, and most notably, director of college scouting. He spent 11 years in New England from 2002 to 2012. Following his tenure with the Patriots, Robinson served as the Tampa Bay Buccaneers' director of player personnel from 2013 to 2015 before joining the Titans in 2016. The Jets have also interviewed Thomas Dimitroff, the former Atlanta Falcons GM, for the same position
