Jets quarterback Aaron Rodgers looked miserable in the final moments of Sunday’s 10-9 loss to the Broncos, when he sat down on the bench, put a towel over his head, and with the rain falling down leaned his head back in what appeared to be pain or frustration.
Rodgers, who tore his Achilles 13 months ago, said after the game he was dealing with “some stuff” in both legs. Now we know the knee is an issue. “I don’t know if I’m the only one that knows there’s a lot of football left, but there is a lot of football left,” Rodgers told McAfee. “I’m hoping that we can all have a little perspective, here. That seemed like an outlier game, obviously Denver has a real solid defense.
