A shoe expert has shared a 'simple yet effective shoe rule' that could help passengers with their hand luggage
Passengers flying with Ryanair , Jet2, Easyjet, and TUI have been reminded to adhere to a "simple yet effective shoe rule" when packing their hand luggage due to the airlines' strict baggage policies.
Easyjet's policy states: "Everyone can bring one small under seat cabin bag per person on board for free. It can be a maximum size of 45 x 36 x 20 cm and must be kept under the seat in front of you. That should be enough to bring all the essentials for your journey or for a short trip. Your bag can weigh up to 15kg, but we do ask that you're able to lift and carry it yourself.
But ahead of the summer holiday season, a "simple yet effective shoe rule" could help you stay within the parameters of what you are allowed to take, an expert has said.
