Jet2 has announced that is it launching a destination to the Balearic island from Glasgow Airport in 2024. The package will include flights to Ibiza plus the short ferry ride to Formentera.
Glasgow Airport is introducing a new destination to Formentera in Spain by Jet2Holidays for next summer.
The company confirmed the addition of the Balearic island from the airport in 2024. Holidays will operate from May 16 through to October 5. With multiple weekly departures available from Glasgow Airport, packages with Jet2holidays include flights to Ibiza Airport, 22kg baggage, free child places and transfers for a £60 per person booking deposit.
Just 20km south of Ibiza, Formentera is reached via a short transfer. Once arriving at Ibiza airport, customers will receive ferry tickets from the Jet2holidays Resort Customer Helper before taking a coach to Ibiza Town Port. The ferry operates every 30 minutes and coach transfers are also provided upon arrival in Formentera.Steve Heapy, CEO of Jet2.com and Jet2holidays, said: “We are incredibly excited to be launching packages to Formentera for Summer 24 from Glasgow airport.
