FlightRadar showed the Jet2 aircraft took off at around 5.45pm and was due to land at 9pm on the Balearic party destination island, but the flight diverted half an hour into the journey - the Mirror reports. Jet2 has remained tight-lipped over the reason for the U-turn with an emergency landing ruled out by the budget airline.In a tweet the airline said it was due to "unforeseen operational reasons".
