A Jet2 flight from Turkey heading to Glasgow airport has been forced to make an emergency landing after a passenger fell ill mid-air.
Top news stories today The plane was scheduled to take off from Dalaman at 10.35pm but did not depart until 10.59pm, with the scheduled time of arrival in Glasgow at 1.25am on Wednesday, July 17 reports Glasgow Live. A spokesperson for Jet2 said: "We can confirm that flight LS196 from Dalaman to Glasgow diverted to Budapest on Tuesday , due to a customer requiring medical assistance."
