Before she was sentenced, Jehoaddan Wilson, 42, of Brentwood, wrote “I have never committed any crime regardless of what the record reports.”

OAKLAND — A Brentwood woman who fired her attorneys and continued to adamantly maintain her innocence after being convicted of fraud was sentenced Thursday to 81 months in federal prison, prosecutors announced.

In one instance, a woman who lived at a retirement community agreed to give Wilson her personal information to receive money through an alleged “Obama Stimulus plan.” The investigation goes back 10 years, to 2012, when federal authorities served a search warrant at Wilson’s tax business, Enterprise Financial. In 2017, prosecutors secured a 34-count indictment against Wilson and her brother, who has already served a prison term.

“Jesus and I know I am innocent; the trial was fake and false. The conviction was made up and the court was full of pretenders,” she wrote.
