A Monmouth County man died early Sunday after he was found shot inside a car stopped at an intersection in Neptune Township, authorities said. Marques Mills, 39, was found by police shortly before 11 p.m. Saturday at Hillview Drive and Edgemere Road, authorities said. Mills, who had been shot multiple times, was taken to Jersey Shore University Medical Center. He died early Sunday, said acting Monmouth County Prosecutor Lori Linskey.
No arrests have been made. Anyone with information is asked to call Detective Matthew Delgado in the prosecutor’s office at 533-7443 or Neptune Township Police Department Detective Robert Hagerman at 988-8000.
