BEREA, Ohio — Jerry Jeudy prefers to let his career-high 235 receiving yards from Monday night’s 41-32 loss to the Broncos do his talking.Smith, who had ripped Jeudy last season for being “just a guy” and cautioned teams not to trade for him, complimented Jeudy on his podcast on Tuesday.
Jeudy, who acknowledged earlier this season that he didn’t appreciate Smith’s criticism of him on national television, also wasn’t disappointed that he was passed over for AFC Offensive Player of the Week in favor of Josh Allen, who became the first NFL player to record a rushing touchdown, passing touchdown, and touchdown catch in a single game.Browns safety Juan Thornhill returned to practice on a limited basis Thursday after sitting out the Denver game. “I think Kevin does a really good job of expressing to our players don’t do dumb ,” he said. “Don’t do something that’s going to hurt the team. Don’t entertain things after the whistle. Let the opponent talk all they want. Let’s do our talking in between the whistles. At the end of the day, it’s frustrating when you see dumb things post-whistle to me that ends up like really hurting the team.”
