Jermaine Jenas has been sacked by the BBC following allegations of inappropriate behaviour, and the former Tottenham star has insisted there are 'two sides to every story' after his departure
Jermaine Jenas has insisted there are 'two sides to every story' in his first interview since being sacked by the BBC - before the awkward chat took a turn and he asked to be taken off air.
When the news broke, Jenas was presenting the Drivetime show on talkSPORT. After the programme ended, he agreed to give an interview to TalkSPORT News on the allegations. Below is the interview in full... Interviewer: "It's being reported that you sent unsolicited texts to a female member of staff at The One Show. Is that true?”
Interviewer: "Just a couple of logistical questions. When did the BBC tell you that you were being sacked?" JJ: “I can't talk about that right now. I've just got to leave this to a team of lawyers at the minute who are, yeah, I suppose just managing the situation. This is… Yeah, it’s tough, you know. But I’ve got to listen to my lawyers.”
