What To Expect From Jeremy Renner In Wake Up Dead Man Wake Up Dead Man will be Renner's second role overall since recovering, having reprised his role as Mike McLusky in Mayor of Kingstown season 3. The actor boasts a major film career, having starred as Hawkeye in the Marvel Cinematic Universe and in critically acclaimed films like The Hurt Locker, Arrival and Wind River.
Renner already has a connection to the series as well, with his likeness having been used on a hot sauce bottle at the end of Glass Onion. When Helen is shot by Miles, the bullet breaks a bottle of his brand-name hot sauce she has with her, allowing her to play dead as Benoit starts piecing together the mystery. Since this confirms the actor exists in the Knives Out universe, it's likely this will be commented on during the film.
