The ‘Bear’ star tells ‘GQ’ that he’s also been spending time with the Boss as he prepares for the biopic ‘Deliver Me From Nowhere’: “He’s just the greatest guy.”
The Emmy winner is stepping out of the kitchen and into the studio for 20th Century Studios’ Deliver Me From Nowhere, which will follow the making of Springsteen’s 1982 album, Nebraska. While speaking with GQ, White revealed that he had begun the process of transforming into the “Dancing in the Dark” musician.
He’s also been poring over old concert footage. “It’s really great to go down a YouTube rabbit hole and find him at all these different periods in his life and be able to listen to his speaking voice as well as his singing voice,” he said. “That’s kind of been the deal, just listening to him a lot and watching him a lot. It’s been really fun preparing.
