Davies also announced the show will be increasing the prizes for second- and third-place winners, starting this season, by $1,000 each—bringing them to $3,000 and $2,000, respectively—to address increased “post-Covid travel costs” and challenges contestants face to fund their trips.will return this September for its second season with new, original questions that were written before the WGA strike.
