Jockey Koby Jennings has put his family in front of racing and will move back to Victoria after the Lord Mayors Cup meeting at Rosehill on Saturday.
“It is where my family is from and I have two young kids now, so I want them growing up around family,” Jennings said.“We are heading back to Gippsland, and then we will work out where is the best place to live.
“I will take things as they come and see what happens, but the weights scale is higher down there. There might be more jockeys down there, but I think there might be more opportunities for me.” Another chance came on Sky Lab in the Scone Cup earlier in the month when he sailed down the centre of the track to beat Waterford, and the pair reunite in the Lord Mayors Cup.
