This time, makeup artist Scott Barnes eschewed brown and beige neutrals in favor of a different color spectrum, dusting different shades of gray from lash line to socket. Plenty of black liner and lashings of eye-opening mascara finished the look.
For a final flourish, Barnes proved that sometimes more is more with the surprise addition of a pop of pink on J. Lo’s lips. A far cry from her usual glossy nudes, thelinked to the tones of her Bach Mai floral dress and provided the perfect foil to her statement lids. To tie everything together, a delicate pink flush was buffed onto her cheeks.
To keep the focus on her face, hairstylist Lorenzo Martin kept things simple with one of Jennifer Lopez’s signature glossy ballerina buns. Because some things never change.
