In the movie, Lopez plays the role of Darcy, the fiance of Tom . They planned on having a destination wedding at a fictional destination in the Philippines dubbed “Mahal Island,” but things took a turn when their relatives decided to weigh in on their decisions and, worse, a bunch of pirates held their entire wedding party hostage.
Also starring Lenny Kravitz and Jennifer Coolidge, the film premiered on Amazon Prime on Friday, Jan. 27. Watch the trailer here:
