While most people typically consider going shorter with their hair for the summer months, Jennifer Lopez has other ideas. In fact, she’s done the opposite and debuted a new style that sees far more hair framing her face than before.
The star’s latest makeover revolves around a thick new fringe, which makes her look even more youthful than before—if that’s possible. The new style was cut by one of her trusted hairdressers, Lorenzo Martin.Martin shared the results of Lopez’s restyle on his Instagram account, and while we suspect there may be some stealthily-placed extensions at work here to add body, movement, and length, the look is working well for the actor.
It’s not just the bangs, though. Lopez’s new “melting honey” hair color is also notable. An offshoot of the bronde hair color trend, it involves applying lighter highlights at strategic points in the cut to illuminate the face and make skin look visibly more youthful. And, if it’s good enough for J Lo, it’s good enough for us.
