From sunshine to banana, Jennifer Lawrence explored the full spectrum of yellows with her latest look.
It was a grey, rainy day in New York, with April showers overtaking the city. But Jennifer Lawrence isn’t about to let that get her down, she’s choosing to – as an inspirational Tumblr quote or driftwood HomeGoods sign would endorse – be her own sunshine. The actor opted for sunshine-yellow accents while out for a walk. She wore a buttery ribbed top underneath a navy cardigan, buttoned at the neckline, and a double-breasted trench coat.
Lawrence added yellow accessories to her sunny look, wearing a pair of daffodil Vans and black rimmed sunglasses with yellow lenses. But the pièce de résistance of Lawrence’s outfit was her purse: the Ralph Lauren Polo ID bag – a crescent moon-shaped shoulder bag the colour of banana Laffy Taffy. Even with the rest of her brightly coloured pieces, one can’t help but stare at Lawrence’s bag like they would the sun. Perhaps she was inspired by Monday’s solar eclipse.
