Barbie fever has fully taken hold, but here's why her style is here to stay
With Greta Gerwig's live-action adaptation hitting UK cinemas on 21 July, Barbie fever has taken over the fashion industry – and Robbie has clearly been having the time of her life paying sartorial tribute to the iconic doll.
From vintage Versace and Moschino to Bottega Veneta, Valentino and, of course, Chanel, Robbie's stylist Andrew Mukamal has worked with the fashion houses to pull together a fabulously kitsch and playful wardrobe inspired by Barbie looks from the '50s and '60s through to modern day – with a recurring accessory being those white framed sunglasses.
Whether you're a lover of Coleman's Chanel shades, prefer something sporty like Hadid or bigger frames like Rihanna, there are plenty of styles to invest in now, no matter your personal aesthetic. One thing is for sure though, we guarantee you'll be wearing yours for years, as Barbie herself has been.
