"The district attorney’s security detail sole responsibility is to keep the district attorney safe and they made the ultimate decision for her to leave," Maggie Muir, a campaign consultant for Jenkins, told SFGATE in a statement."As the city’s top prosecutor, she faces higher public safety risks and the safety of her and her family is always a top priority.

""She left because she didn’t want to answer the question in front of her," Alioto Veronese told SFGATE."She knew she would be called out on it by Hamasaki or myself because what she did was unethical. In the law called that’s forum shopping, where you get judges who will deliver the outcome ideal for you. It’s not how the system is built and it’s a violation of people’s rights.
