MSNBC anchor Jen Psaki warned the Republican Party to 'start worrying about Donald Trump.'

Psaki issued her weekly news recap Saturday to share her analysis on Trump's likelihood of winning the GOP nomination for president. He is up against twelve other opponents but appears to be the front-runner in polls. The former White House press secretary to President Joe Biden pointed to an NBC poll that has Biden and Trump tied in a hypothetical rematch of the 2020 election."And there is no viable alternative to him in the Republican Party," Psaki wrote.

However, Psaki acknowledged that her own Democratic Party appears more anxious than the Republican Party. She noted the party's"bed-wetting" over Biden's reelection chances. Meanwhile, the current front-running GOP nominee has a litany of charges pending against him, as Trump will be in court defending his innocence throughout the campaign season.

"Given all of that, I’d say there’s more to worry about on the right than on the left," Psaki wrote."So maybe it’s time for Democrats — led by an incumbent president — to pass the bed-wetting torch to the party led by a criminal defendant."In light of Congress passing a stop-gap measure just hours before the federal government's funding deadline, Psaki pointed a finger at Republicans.

Congress has approved appropriation bills within the start of the fiscal year only four times in the last 40 years.
