Jelly Roll's 'Halfway to Hell' enters the Country Airplay chart's top 10, his fourth song to do so.

chart as “Halfway to Hell” rides 11-9 on the list dated May 4. The song increased by 11% to 20.3 million audience impressions in the April 19-25 tracking week, according to Luminate.

Jelly Roll co-authored the song with Jessie Jo Dillon, Jesse Frasure and Matt Jenkins. It’s the first track on the– 90,000 equivalent album units in the United States – for an initial entry since the survey transitioned to a consumption-based methodology in February 2017.“Halfway to Hell” follows three straight Country Airplay leaders for Jelly Roll: “Save Me,” with Lainey Wilson, which reigned for two frames last December; “Need a Favor” ; and his rookie entry, “Son of a Sinner” .

Jelly Roll has an additional song on the May 4 ranking: Dustin Lynch’s “Chevrolet” , on which he’s featured, pushes 24-22 for a new high .Sam Hunt’s “Outskirts” dominates Country Airplay for a second week with 31.7 million impressions in the tracking week . The song, which he co-authored, becomes the second of his 10 No. 1s to lead for more than one week, after “Body Like a Back Road” ruled for three frames in May 2017.
