JELEBU: The Education Ministry has been urged to quickly approve a budget for SK Undang Jelebu to carry out repairs, says Jelebu MP Datuk Seri Jalaluddin Alias.

The Negri Sembilan Umno liaison committee chairman and former federal territories deputy minister, who visited the school after getting complaints from parents, said it was in need of urgent repairs and upgrading."A section of the ceiling at the canteen has collapsed and become a hazard.

"The tables and chairs in many classes are damaged. Even the floor in some classrooms is cracked," he said in a statement on Friday . Jalaluddin said the air-conditioning in the teachers' room was also not functioning and the tables provided to them were old and insufficient.
