McIntosh, who worked at Jefferies Financial Group's Dallas office and was assigned to the firm's technology, media, and telecommunications team, was discovered by authorities around 11 a.m. Dallas police are investigating the incident as an unexplained death , and the cause of death has not yet been released.
Jefferies CEO Richard Handler and President Brian Friedman addressed the death in an internal memo to staff, expressing their condolences to McIntosh's family, friends, and colleagues. McIntosh had previously worked at other financial services firms, including Moelis & Co. and Goldman Sachs, before joining Jefferies in September 2023. He graduated from Seton Hall University in 2018 with a bachelor's degree in finance.
