WASHINGTON—Lawyers for Amazon.com Inc. told House lawmakers that CEO Jeff Bezos is willing to testify at a hearing this summer alongside other tech leaders, according to a June 14 letter viewed by The Wall Street Journal.
The House Judiciary Committee has been pressing for Mr. Bezos to testify in the wake of a report by The Journal that Amazon employees used data scooped up from independent sellers on the platform to develop competing products.
