The viral jeepney driver who gives free rides to passengers struggling to afford transportation received a Christmas surprise from "24 Oras."
Mike Kimmuel became known last August for the cardboard sign inside his jeep saying the ride is free for those who are "walang-wala" in life. He added that a "thank you" is enough. He drives for half a day only so he could be at home with his wife, who suffered a stroke in March. He also dedicates his time to buying their household needs in the morning.
Though life has been hard, Mike said giving free rides to those who need it is just a little something to pay it forward. This holiday season, it is his turn to receive presents from "24 Oras." Apart from gas for his jeep, his family also received groceries and Christmas packages.
