Jeep quietly kills off V-8 engine option in two-row Grand Cherokee.
The 5.7-liter naturally aspirated V-8 was rated at 357 hp and 390 lb-ft of torque, and offered as a $3795 option for 2022 model year two-row Grand Cherokees.
Now, the only engine options available are the base Pentastar V-6 and the 375-hp hybrid powertrain which, aspoints out, is more powerful, torquier, more efficient, and almost 1 second quicker to 60 mph than the outgoing V-8 model.
