Jeanette Ball will make a yearly salary of $255,000. It’s $5,000 more than her salary at Judson ISD, where she resigned as superintendent in November under pressure from a board majority.

“No one truly knows when you look at somebody what their life is really all about. A lot of us do a great job of painting a very rosy picture. And we can look at people and say, ‘Well, they have no struggles. They've had the perfect life,’” she said. “But I would say that most of us in this room haven't had that.”
Ball began her teaching career at the district in 1995 and worked her way up to administrative positions before becoming the superintendent at Uvalde CISD. She had been the Judson superintendent since 2019.
