Vice Presidential nominee and Senator JD Vance is holding a town hall at Rock Church in Harrisburg on Saturday evening.
The town hall's main topic is education, with the Trump campaign saying the Trump-Vance administration will "double down" on its commitment to ensure every Pennsylvania child has "access to a top-tier education."
"Some of those public schools need to spend more on teachers and students and less on bureaucrats," said Vance. "I have seen the statistics and when you look at the increase in school funding, very little of it's gone to the students and very little of it's gone to the teachers. Its all gone to the administrators."
Vance spoke about ways he plans to change to current education system if elected as Vice President of the United States. Black communities don't simply need politicians who look like us. We need politicians who back the principles and policies that matter to us. Especially on the civil rights issue of our time—education freedom.
