Some highlights for Josdal include the generational talent of Margo Price, nostalgic songs from Amanda Marshall and new music from The Beaches.show, which also features Daniel Lanois and Terra Lightfoot, will be a unique experience, she added. With the new main location, the festival will still include concerts around Saskatoon as well, Josdal said.“We’ve got four shows at The Bassment Jazz Club, which is really where the whole festival started. So, we do honour that legacy with the Strictly Jazz Series at The Bassment,” Josdal said.Article content“That has been supported and sponsored by the Riversdale BID, the Broadway BID, Optimist Hill, Brighton and multiple businesses throughout there.
“That is a shuttle system with stops on Broadway, downtown and Riversdale that … can get you around and to the Victoria Park site a little bit easier for folks,” Josdal said. “It’s something that we’ve wanted to do for a long time.”
