'We were both, like, laughing about it. He said: 'look where I am''.'
One of Jay Slater's closest friends has recounted the final words they exchanged before the teenager went missing.
"He was on the phone and he goes: 'I've got walk and go all down that road'", Brad recounted, noting that Jay had said he would ring him back but "someone else was ringing him." "Not at the time because we were both, like, laughing about it. He said: 'look where I am'", he assured, "he didn't seem concerned on the phone until we knew how far away he was."
