Man United sent Javier Hernandez out on loan to Real Madrid back in 2014 for a full season.
Former Manchester United striker Javier Hernandez has quashed suggestions that Cristiano Ronaldo was 'difficult' to work with during his season-long loan spell at Real Madrid just under a decade ago.
They finished second in La Liga, just two points behind table-toppers Barcelona, and were knocked out of the Champions League at the semi-final stage. Nevertheless, it was a year that allowed Hernandez to experience playing alongside Ronaldo, who scored an astonishing 61 goals in all competitions that season.
"Cris is Cris. We know his personality and competitiveness, but as a team-mate that is one of the things you cannot take away."
