With rumors floating around that Jason Momoa might relinquish his role of Aquaman in the DC Universe, the actor recently said that he’ll always be the character, but might also play other roles in the DCU too.
Speaking to Variety, Momoa’s future as Aquaman came up. The actor was asked about his most recent meeting with DC Studios co-CEOs James Gunn and Peter Safran, which Momoa said went great in a recent video. Momoa reiterated it was a great meeting, and then later said that no one would be coming in and taking Aquaman from him, before noting that he could play a ton of other characters if he wanted to.
“I’ll always be Aquaman. Ain’t anyone coming in there and taking shit,” Momoa said. “There might be some other characters, too. I can play other things, too.
