Following his retirement from the NFL, Jason Kelce is focusing on his long-term health. During a June 26 interview with GQ, the former Philadelphia Eagles offensive lineman said he's 'almost 20 pounds down right now' and is aiming to shed an additional 20. For the majority of his time in the NFL, Kelce revealed he weighed 295 pounds. 'It's hard to imagine another nearly 20 pounds coming off, being honest with you,' Kelce said. 'But my back already feels better.
After 13 seasons with the Philadelphia Eagles, Kelce tearfully announced his retirement at a press conference in March. 'I must admit, I am officially overrated. Vastly overrated. It took a lot of hard work and determination getting here,' Kelce said during his emotional 45-minute speech. 'I have been the underdog my entire career, and I mean this when I say it, I wish I still was.' For Kelce, retirement has left him 'more busy than ever been,' as he shared with TODAY.
